IHOP Mysteriously Changes Its Name And Logo To ‘IHOb’

IHOP has puzzlingly announced on its social media channels that, come 11 June, it will be switching its name to ‘IHOb’ after 60 years.
To tease the change, the International House of Pancakes shared an animation showing the ‘P’ in “IHOP” being flipped over as easily as the chain flips pancakes to become a lowercase ‘b’.
The chain has thrown in a few clues as to what the “b” might stand for. It could either be “biscuits,” “bacon,” “butternut squash,” “barnacles,” or some other bafflingly batty word. Most fans are betting on a word outside the selection: “breakfast.”
Whether or not it’s a publicity stunt or an actual rebrand will be determined in the coming days.
