Nutella Lovers Rejoice, The Chocolate Company Is Opening A Cafe In New York
By Izza Sofia, 10 Jun 2018
Nutella is opening a cafe dedicated to the fan-favorite hazelnut spread in New York.
Parent company Ferrero International has announced that Nutella Cafe New York will be opening at 116 University Place at 13th Street. Slated to open at the end of this year, the 2,200 square-feet store will be located near Union Square and will be the brand’s second.
The first Nutella Cafe opened in Chicago on 31 May 2017, and it serves desserts slabbed with Nutella as well as espresso drinks. The new store will be offering Nutella-based desserts like cookie sandwiches, crepes and pastries and specialty espresso beverages.
According to Nick Fossali, vice president of operations, Nutella Cafe, “There truly is nothing like the taste of Nutella® hazelnut spread, and with the overwhelmingly positive reaction to Nutella Cafe Chicago, we know our fans feel the same way. It’s their excitement that propelled us to open another Nutella Cafe and continue to showcase the uniqueness and versatility of this beloved product.”
No official word on when it will be opening for business so stay glued to Nutella’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
