After floating around as a diapered baby, President Trump has taken incarnation of a massive chicken onboard a boat.
On Sunday, a team of protestors had an inflatable ‘Trump Chicken’ cruise along the coast of San Francisco via a boat dubbed, “Alcatraz prison transport.”
The 33-foot blimp was dressed in a black-and-white striped shirt, tagged ‘00045’, and was headed towards the historic Alcatraz Island, where the country’s most notorious criminals once resided.
The group set up a crowdsourcing page titled ‘Send President Chicken to Jail’ to fund the journey, as well as help cover boat rental costs.
Since the campaign was pitched just four days ahead, it did not reach its US$4,000 goal. Nevertheless, the ‘Trump Chicken’ organization went ahead with its plans to ruffle the US President’s feathers.
“Did you know? ‘President Chicken’ is the biggest chicken in the world for not releasing his tax returns,” the group tweeted as the balloon set sail. “At 33 feet tall, his glossy orange cockscomb is visible from space.”
The boat stopped by the AT&T Park to greet fans at the 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens.
The chicken isn’t a newbie with crowds. In 2017, it made its appearance near the White House to stand in for Trump, who was on vacation. Watch its journey in the footage below.
