The Kennel Club in the UK has awarded its winning titles for its annual ‘Dog Photographer of the Year’ competition, and you can imagine how ruff it must have been to handpick the best out of these precious pictures.
Spanning 10 categories, the competition doesn’t just recognize the most photogenic pups, it also acknowledges young photographers. The ‘Young Pup Photographer’ award, for example, is for individuals under the age of 11, and ‘I Love Dogs Because…’ awards participants between ages 12 and 17.
In spite of the diverse styles across entries, they appear to share one theme: friendship. Have a look at some of the top photos from 2018 and head over to the ‘Dog Photographer of the Year’ website to enjoy more.
