Google Might Have Accidentally Leaked Its Pixel 3 Launch Date In An Online Ad
By Izza Sofia, 08 Aug 2018
It seems Google might have inadvertently shared the 4 October launch date for its upcoming Pixel 3 smartphone.
The company released a range of hardware on the same date last year, and now, new evidence points towards a similar unveiling timeline for this year.
On his channel This Is Tech Today, YouTuber Brandon Lee shared the advertisement, which indicated that Google was looking for influencers to review the Pixel 3 for a video on 4 October, the date that the Pixel 3 is rumored for launch.
The ad was initially posted on Famebit, a website that is run by Google-owned YouTube for brands and influencers to connect. According to the ad, Google was looking for Canadian influencers to trial the Pixel 3 smartphone and create a video on the experience.
It seems that the company intends to emphasize on users switching from their previous devices to the Pixel phone.
Earlier this week, images of the Pixel 3 XL, which shows off a large notch and bezel, made their rounds on the internet.
There has been no confirmation on the final design so fans will have to wait patiently for the supposed launch date on 4 October to come.
