Crocs Is Closing Its Last Factory, Sends Die-Hard Fans Into Emotional Collapse
By Izza Sofia, 11 Aug 2018
Crocs made some bold fashion moves lately with several new products that elevate its wearers to new heights.
That’s why it came as a surprise to its fans when the brand announced that it will be closing its manufacturing doors.
However, this did not mean that the company is going out of business. It further explained that the manufacturing facilities in Mexico and Italy will be shut down in an effort to improve Crocs’ profitability and to simply its business.
However, Crocs did not state where it will be manufacturing its shoes after the closure of its manufacturing facilities and that sent its Twitter fans into a frenzy.
Crocs’ representatives told CNBC that the company will be making its shoes through third-party manufacturers.
They said that the company is aiming to streamline its business to meet the growing demand of its customers and it is shifting its production to these third-party companies to pump up its manufacturing capacity.
However, that promise did not seem to suffice in appeasing its loyalists, who took to Twitter to express their eternal sorrow. Scroll down to have a look at some reactions.

Crocs have been with me since day 1. I religiously wore them almost every day in high school as a statement piece. RIP to the worlds greatest and most diverse shoe on the market. #acrocalypse #crocs @pimpdawgdaddy @brandonchilchil @GunnerHopman— Zach McCurry (@zach_mccurry) August 10, 2018
