To keep up its track record of being the Wendy’s of the smartphone world, Samsung has released two ads for its brand new Galaxy Note 9 that don’t shy away from challenging the competencies of rival Apple and its iPhone X.
The first video sees an ‘Ingenius’ Apple employee calling the iPhone X “powerful” because it’s able to unlock via facial recognition. “Really?” replies a customer before referencing the new Galaxy Note 9 by responding, “It does that too.”
To counter the statement, the staffer gloats about iOS 12’s arguably excessive feature: the ability to have 32 people in a FaceTime conversation.
“Why would I ever want to do that?” asks the customer.
In the second clip, another Apple Store patron questions the differences between Note 9’s ‘S-Pen’ and the Apple Pencil.
The same employee replies, “Well, the Apple Pencil only works on the iPad.”
View both spots below. Just recently, Samsung ridiculed the iPhone X’s notch, memory storage, and inadequate ability to multitask. With Apple’s keynote being just around the corner, the South Korean giant will certainly have even more features to joke about.
