Serena Williams Twirls To Her Second 2018 US Open Win In White Tutu Dress
By Izza Sofia, 31 Aug 2018
Serena Williams is doubling down on her fashionable outfits at the ongoing US Open.
On 30 August, Williams stepped onto the court in a white Off-White x Nike outfit to defeat German tennis player Carina Witthöft in the second round of the tournament. She completed her playful tutu outfit with a pair of Off-White sneakers.
Similar to the black ballerina-inspired tutu that she had worn during her victorious debut match at the 2018 US Open, this white version features a one-sleeve silhouette and a tutu skirt. Williams twirled in front of the crowd like a ballerina after winning the match. She took to Instagram to post an image of herself with the caption, “Twirling into Friday!!”
Her fans had but positive comments for her, with one saying, “[T]hey’re mad cause you can wear anything and win!!! Keep twirling (and winning), Momma!” while another added, “That twirl is everything! You’re so awesome!!!”
👊🏿 (📸 @gettyimages) #serenawilliams
