When you’re waiting in line for Apple’s new iPhone Xs or iPhone XR, you’ll want to look your best—and you can.
A pair of “yellowing” employee sneakers from the 1990s has gone up on eBay at US$10,000, or 24 easy payments of US$481. That’s equivalent to the price of iPhone Xs units for 10 Apple fanboys.
According to the seller, this pair is the one-and-only design available online. The white Nike ‘Court Force’ sneakers are embroidered with the classic rainbow Apple logo on their tongues and uppers.
“A similar, less cool version was appraised for US$30,000 from Stock X,” they added. “And my pair is significantly better, with a unique spell-out Rainbow logo, and a superior looking rainbow Apple.”
The shoes have turned slightly yellow from living in a person’s closet, the seller said, and are marked as an European size 40 or, “US men’s 8-ish [and] women’s size 9-ish.”
Have a closer look at the silhouette. What a great way to kick off the next generation of Apple products.
