While Apple already unveiled a cheaper 9.7-inch iPad this year, there’s reason to believe that it could launch additional models in October. More specifically, tech analysts are expecting two iPad Pros in 11-inch and 12.9-inch sizes.
Unlike this year’s iPhones, the iPads are said to sport wholly new looks that see the end of the home button. A set of photos sent to tech blog Slashleaks offer a closer glimpse at the potential redesign.
These snapshots, uploaded by user ‘Leakspinner’ who has a track record of accurately predicting future products, reveal 3D files from a factory in China.
Corroborating with previous reports, the images depict the iPads with slimmer bezels that are still wide enough to include TrueDepth technology sans notch. There’s also no home button, and Apple seems to have wiped out the iPad’s rounded ends for flatter edges.
As anticipated by renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the iterations also show the iPad Pro with a USB-C instead of a Lightning port.
Check out the expected design below and head here for a closer look.
