The 10 great typefaces comprise Akzidenz-Grotesk, Bebas Neue, Knockout, Aileron Regular, DIN 1451, Sabon, Lora, Rockwell, Futura, and Brandon Grotesque.
The nine typefaces to avoid include Curlz, Courier New, Papyrus, Bradley Hand, Triple Condensed Gothic, Impact (aka the meme typeface), Monotype Corsiva, Comic Sans MS, and Black Oak.
