The opening of the yet-to-be-titled Avengers 4 is about seven long months away. Marvel Studios has been milking fans’ growing anticipation, with the Russo Brothers gleefully trolling them through cryptic messages.
Just like how you can expect for the revival of several Infinity War characters, film buffs have been clinging onto truths spilled by Tom Holland, who’s known to blurt out spoilers.
Prior to the release of Infinity War, Holland declared, “[Cumberbatch] has the most difficult lines, though. He has to talk about so much ‘Quantum Realm’ stuff.”
Strangely enough, the ‘Quantum Realm’, an alternate dimension where time and space aren’t relevant, was rarely mentioned in the film, which led fans to believe that it’s going to take prominence in Avengers 4.
Now, another star has confirmed the clue.
Michael Douglas, who plays ‘Dr Hank Pym’ in the Ant-Man franchise, affirmed in On Air with Ryan Seacrest that the ‘Quantum Realm’ is “the key” to Avengers 4 and future MCU movies.
Douglas told Seacrest that it is “absolutely true” that the ‘Quantum Realm’ is directly connected with the upcoming sequel.
“That’s the key. That’s the key,” he said. “The ‘Quantum Realm’ plays an important part in all the next chapters, I think, of the Marvel films.”
‘Hank Pym’, as you might know, dissipated into ash in Ant-Man 2 along with the heroes from Infinity War.
Apart from the revelation, industry insiders have also suggested that Avengers 4 will be set about five years in the future.
Avengers 4 starts YEARS after Infinity War. Not just a few months later as some people were hoping for. Sorry guys.— Daniel R (@DanielRPK) October 7, 2018
