Marvel Responds To NASA’s Tweet On Saving ‘Tony Stark’ In ‘Avengers: Endgame’
By Yoon Sann Wong, 12 Dec 2018
The trailer for Avengers: Endgame has not only shattered the 24-hour viewing record, but also sparked a humorous plea by fans to save ‘Tony Stark’, who appeared stranded alone in space.
Cries for help were directed towards space agency NASA, who responded with a tweet saying, “Hey @Marvel, we heard about ‘Tony Stark’. As we know, the first thing you should do is listen in mission control for ‘@Avengers, we have a problem.’ But if he can’t communicate, then we recommend ground teams use all resources to scan the skies for your missing man.”
Marvel Studios has decided to get on board with all the fun and issued a reply, “Appreciate any help you can provide.”
Aside from NASA, fans have also reached out to Elon Musk, in hopes that the SpaceX founder might send his ‘Big F*cking Rocket’ to save the marooned superhero.
In other exciting NASA-related news, the space agency recently celebrated its ‘Voyager 2’ probe going interstellar, 41 years after the craft’s launch in 1977. It even released a free new graphic design poster to mark the milestone.
