IKEA’s Witty Marie Kondo-Inspired Ads Will Give You Mess Appeal

It looks like Netflix’s popular new show, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo, is inspiring more than just the average Joe to declutter their home.
Joining LEGO is Swedish home furniture giant IKEA with its Marie Kondo-themed ads that are out to give you mess appeal.
On Facebook, the brand promoted its ‘SKUBB’ boxes with Kondo’s iconic phrase, “If it brings you joy…” before surprising viewers by cutting to its ‘KNODD’ bin and the words, “If it doesn’t.”
“Decluttering? We’ve got just what you need to go from mess to less,” writes IKEA inside the caption.
