IKEA’s Flat-Pack Chocolate Easter Bunny Can Be Self-Assembled Like Its Furniture
By Yoon Sann Wong, 04 Mar 2019
Swedish furniture giant IKEA is gearing up for Easter, which is slightly over a month away on 21 April.
In true IKEA fashion, the flat-pack company has introduced its milk chocolate Easter bunny called ‘VÅRKÄNSLA’ that ties in closely with the heart and soul of the brand: DIY assembly.
“Go ahead, play with your food! That’s what this certified sustainable chocolate bunny is for. It’s easily assembled, only three parts. And when you’re finished playing, we bet you’ll enjoy eating it, too,” reads the product’s description.
‘VÅRKÄNSLA’ is made from UTZ-certified cacao, which safeguards sustainable farming principles and good working environments for employees.
The IKEA bunny is currently selling for US$4.29 in stores.
