Until now, there appears to be more focus on female independence than pleasure. Hoping to change all that is UK beauty marketplace Cult Beauty, which has rolled out a campaign celebrating diverse vulvas and the ways to keep them clean and happy.
Titled ‘#VULVALUTION’, Cult Beauty’s new movement aspires to spark more conversations about feminine health, especially when it concerns the “taboo” nether regions.
“In an age where sex is everywhere, an astonishing number of women still lack basic anatomical awareness…” the brand describes. “Which is why we’ve decided it’s time to stop beating around the proverbial bush.”
“We’re on a mission to help raise awareness, provide education and empower women to feel more ‘in tune’ with their gynecological health and their sexual pleasure.”
Coinciding with International Women’s Day, the retailer has partnered with Lady Garden Foundation, a non-profit promoting awareness for gynecological cancers, to unleash a whole ‘Sexual Pleasure & Wellness’ category.
The range is a curation of products for vaginal care, and includes lubricants, pelvic floor trainers, sex gadgets, pH-balanced cleansers, and libido-enhancing ingestibles.
Alongside the variety of items aimed at sexual pleasure and health, Cult Beauty has also debuted a column tackling “hush hush” topics relating to feminine wellness.
