Jake Gamez, a licensed barber at Fadeaway Barbershop in the US has created a marketing stunt that could either be a mistake or a smart business plan.
The enterprising barber took to Twitter to let potential customers know that he was distributing free condoms with his name card.
“Got [to] include one of these with every card! You’re going to need it after I cut your hair. Trust me,” he tweeted.
While that seemed like a thoughtful move, it is worth noting that Gamez staples the condom with his name card before issuing them to his customers.
Many Twitter users commented on the post, pointing out that the condoms aren’t good to use anymore upon being punctured.
However, others resonated with his “vision” and applauded his brilliant plan. One Twitter user commented, “This man ain’t dumb, he’s gonna be cutting their kids hair too and doubling his profits.”
