Topshop Generously Throws In Two Extra Legs For The Price Of Regular Jeans

Topshop’s new jeans are so unique, they might have more than a leg up on the denim trends you’ve seen so far—four legs up, to be exact.
A pair of optical illusion jeans sold by the retailer have had social media users doing a double take. Designed by street fashion brand Jaded London, the £60 (US$78) pants feature a wide-legged silhouette and large mesh panels with glittery hearts at the sides.
Since the fabric in the middle is black denim, the absurd pair of jeans gives off the illusion that its wearer might have two extra legs.
Had ‘Ariel’ from The Little Mermaid known about these jeans, she wouldn’t have had to consult ‘Ursula’ and went through all that trouble to get her legs.
Internet users have, understandably, expressed their confusion over the garment.
One Twitter user by the name of Woozle claimed to have received an email from Topshop showing the piece while she was sick and on medication. “Am I hallucinating?” she asked.
Another user, ‘red_sky_at_night’, told Topshop to “go home” because “you’re drunk.”
These pants remix the classic, “How many fingers am I holding up?” question, so they’re actually pretty fun. You can get them via Topshop.
