Comedian Jason Sudeikis plays a clueless Joe Biden in the latest Saturday Night Live skit, where he makes references to Lucy Flores and other women’s accusations against the former vice president’s “touchy-feely” behavior.
“I’m a hugger, I’m a kisser, and I’m a little bit of a sniffer,” Sudeikis’ ‘Biden’ proclaims. He is confused over why women cannot be more receptive to his “affectionate” gestures, then sits in for a training class on what is acceptable behavior. He is trained none other than Kate McKinnon, who plays his “sensitivity consultant.”
The training starts off on the wrong foot when Sudeikis’ ‘Biden’ presses his forehead against McKinnon during a hug that goes on for a tad too long. He is also stumped by a whole checklist of things he has done that are considered unacceptable, including one that says “no tickling.”
SNL’s skits about politicians have always been great satire, and with Kate McKinnon (who used to play Hillary Clinton) thrown into the mix, a hearty laugh is pretty much guaranteed.
