Kim Kardashian opened her doors to her stunning Hidden Hills mansion as part of Vogue magazine’s ‘73 Questions’ series.
In the video, Kardashian gives a tour around her house, described by the reality star as a “minimal monastery.”
Her mansion, which she shares with husband Kanye West and her three kids, features sparsely-decorated rooms filled with minimal furniture inspired by West and architect Axel Vervoordt. According to West, the house should “communicate to humanity” and is proportionately-designed to “affect your mood.”
The video sees Kardashian greeting the camera in an entryway as she walks viewers to her hallway, designed with doors and a separate sitting room.
Her bedroom, according to Vogue magazine, is “the size of an airplane hangar” and is covered with white and beige tones. The video also shows Kardashian’s attached bathroom complete with a wall of windows that open up to a range of tropical plants and greenery.
Her bathroom is also equipped with a huge marble bath tub and two chairs that sit opposite the entrance. Kardashian then takes fans through a long concrete hallway to another living room at the other side of her house to flaunt her unique Steinway piano. The minimalist living room, which is able to pass off as an art gallery, sees a fireplace, a white statue, a thin table and a white linen couch.
The star’s show kitchen features a massive center island and stainless-steel stove tops; its shelves display matching bowls and plates.
Kardashian declares that, “There’s no such thing as a lazy day,” and having the entire family together is “really rare.”
