IHOP set the internet ablaze when it decided to change its name to IHOb last year, which paid off very well for the company as it managed to profit from its burger sales.
The company decided to repeat its publicity stunt once again, by tweeting out a video changing its letter ‘b’ back to ‘P’. The clip came with the caption, “We heard you. 3 June.” The tweet has left its customers wondering what the chain is up to once again, and what the ‘P’ could be referring to.
The company then posted a second tweet, with a clip showing tweets of angry tweets from social media users, telling IHOP to “stay in their own lane,” and “stick to pancakes.” The upcoming name change has garnered a lot of reactions from Twitter users, who have posted their hilarious guesses on what the ‘P’ might stand for.
The guesses include “pizza,” “pasta,” “pies” and one Twitter user said, “patience” because everyone is “almost all out of it.”
