While travelers would hope to capture scenic, panoramic photos of tourist hotspots, the end product is often far from ideal, as the landmarks are usually swarmed with people also aspiring to take the perfect shot.
With Paris’ Eiffel Tower, you can expect its surroundings to be dotted with strategic selfie-takers attempting to “pinch” its peak. A similar situation can be found indoors, where you’ll be faced with tourists instead of a picturesque cityscape.
Spotted by LADbible, Google Maps’ secret coordinates save you from having to book a flight ticket or being forced to squeeze in the tower for views.
Thanks to Google Maps’ Street View feature, you can observe the city of Paris 1,063 feet above ground and catch a glimpse of attractions like the river Seine, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, and Montmartre.
The landmark welcomes about 6.9 million visitors each year, and you can finally have a front row seat.
Explore the map below, or enter 48.8583154,2.2943783 in Google Maps to enjoy sights of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower. Descending to levels two or three brings you a little closer to the city.
