Disney star Cameron Boyce passed away in his sleep at the age of 20 on Saturday from a seizure. He was best recognized for appearing in Disney show Jessie and the Descendants film series.
After the announcement of his death, actor Adam Sandler shared a heartfelt tribute to the young actor and his reaction to Boyce’s sudden death. He called Boyce, “Just the nicest, most talented, and most decent kid around,” who “cared so much about his family” and the world at large. He concluded that the news shattered many hearts.
Boyce’s co-star in Jessie, Skai Jackson, also wrote a touching statement on Sunday, along with several pictures of the two having fun together. She said that she “never thought in a million years” she would be writing this, calling Boyce “one of a kind” and “the big brother I never had.” She concluded by telling him how much she loves him and by asking him to “fly high.”
A spokesperson for Cameron’s family told ABC News that Boyce’s spirit will live “through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him.”

I don’t even know where to start... I am at a loss for words. I never thought in a million years I would be writing this. Cam, you were one of a kind. My heart will be forever broken. I am so happy that I got to spend almost everyday with you on set, you gave the best hugs. I wish I would have hugged you tighter when I saw you a couple of months ago. Thank you so much for being the big brother I never had... I am so distraught and I cannot stop crying! I love you so much... fly high 👼🏼 💔😢 Gods best Angel . #CameronBoyce
