Even Aquaman’s Jason Momoa can’t run away from body-shaming trolls.
The actor was on vacation with his wife, Lisa Bonet, in Venice, and was captured chilling out by the pool.
However, anti-fans were quick to comment on his “dad bod” physique, declaring the supposed absence of his abs.
Momoa’s fans were having none of the criticism, and stepped in to defend the star. One Twitter user shut the haters down by writing, “Put some respect on Jason Momoa’s name.” Another fan wrote, “That is most definitely not a dad bod. Body-shaming is gross.”
The internet often forgets that celebrities are people too. Thankfully, there are still a handful of good Samaritans who fight against this toxic culture. Check out more praise-worthy comments below.
Dad bod? You’re right. Looking at pictures of Jason Momoa def makes me want to call him “daddy” pic.twitter.com/umTNzlPXQe— Elizabeth Di Filippo (@mselizabethr) July 11, 2019
Just when you thought you had seen every stupid take on the internet, Jason Momoa is now getting freaking body shamed, saying he has "dad bod". I'm sorry, but what do *your* daddies look like??!!! My god. pic.twitter.com/PaktuR4jlw— Carol Roth (@caroljsroth) July 11, 2019
THESE are the photos people are body shaming Momoa for? Cause he happens to be regular ‘in very good shape’ and not ‘demigod’ shape? Also, he’s not flexing! Flexing has a huge impact on how abs look! https://t.co/WShpuYqv6p— Ben ‘Queen Bee’ Kahn (@BenTheKahn) July 10, 2019
Twitter is insane. If Jason Momoa has a "dad bod", yes the man who played Khal Drogo, Conan the Barbarian, and Aquaman then there is a lot of crack being smoked out there. Holy shit. 🤣 pic.twitter.com/QVwbEu7M7d— NeoUnrealist (@NeoUnrealist) July 10, 2019
If I had half the body Jason Momoa has in the picture, I'd literally never wear a shirt again. https://t.co/msckFaJoFH— Matt Rigg (@NorthernPixels_) July 10, 2019

FFS PEOPLE ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING
1. It is never okay to body shame or fat shame. Never. Not even a little, not even at all!
2. #1 again
3. Are you using your eyes? This man could probably pick you up and throw you in the ocean, only he's too nice to do that. https://t.co/dm7p6EgIbe
Unrealistic body expectations is no longer a female-only thing culturally. The idea that male actors have to be muscled up & chiseled for almost any role is really really new, but seems here to stay. https://t.co/8SsDnmlJbt— Delta Of Venus (@Delta_ofVenus) July 10, 2019
Body shaming is NOT OK for any gender; mumtums, dad bods, non-parenting related love handles, and non-binary bodies, of all skin tones and sizes, are ALL worthy of enjoying time on the beach without anyone critiquing them. https://t.co/bxKFCn8pj0— BretonStripes (@BretonStriped) July 10, 2019
So, people are criticizing #JasonMomoa for having a dad bod? Y'all wish you looked like that. I wish I looked like that.— Angela 🖤 (@angela15202) July 9, 2019
all these haters wish they looked half as good 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣— selena (@Selenacoul) July 9, 2019
FULL OFFENSE but y’all can smd bc that is most definitely NOT a dad bod and even if he did have a dad bod, no one is allowed or worthy enough to “shame” Jason Momoa bc he is Jason Momoa. Also there’s nothing wrong with a dad bod!!!! Body shaming is gross PERIODT. https://t.co/qRIZHopAdX— Thana (@thanaaaa_) July 10, 2019
