Dunkin’ is changing its name again, this time to usher in the season of fall.
On 14 August, eight Dunkin’ locations in the US will be rebranded as “Pumpkin’.” A year ago, it would have been “Pumpkin’ Donuts” with the old name, which wouldn’t have a nice ring to it.
Aside from overhauling their storefronts, the select outlets will serve free small hot or iced Pumpkin Coffees to their first 250 visitors. Additionally, guests will be able to get their hands on “limited quantity” pumpkin-scented ‘MUNCHKINS’ lip balms.
So, where can you find your closest Pumpkin’? It’s all in a name, really. Each letter stands for a location that’s participating in the campaign. There’s ‘P’ for Providence, ‘U’ for Upperco, ‘M’ for Marietta, ‘P’ again for Pleasant Hills, ‘K’ for Kissimmee, ‘I’ for Indian Trail, and ‘N’ for New York. Weirdly enough, the apostrophe at the back represents Boston. The full addresses to these outlets can be found on the brand’s Instagram highlights.
Fret not if there isn’t a Pumpkin’ near you. Dunkin’s other US locations will also embrace autumnal vibes beginning 24 August, as they’ll start rolling out a new ‘Cinnamon Sugar Pumpkin Signature Latte’, an ‘Apple Cider Donut’ and ‘Apple Cider MUNCHINS’, as well as bring back its pumpkin donuts and muffins.
