McDonald’s Unleashes Uplifting New McCafé Logo & Branding To Honor 10 Years

McDonald’s has been a dark horse in the coffee market with its McCafé brand. In the blink of an eye, McCafé US is now 10 years old, and has decided to celebrate the milestone by refreshing its logo and brand identity.
Beginning August, McCafé US is debuting gold-hued cups to complement its “gold standard for quality coffee.” Its packaging, including drinkware and pastry bags, will also be adorned with a new, more legible script logomark.

McCafé rounded out the glyphs of its wordmark, which now also stands upright without an underline to support its visual weight. Overall, the refreshed logo appears more cheerful and welcoming, which is the very identity McDonald’s hopes McCafé will embody with this overhaul.
“The new McCafé brand identity embraces optimism, and champions the feel-good moments brought on by the first sip of our coffee,” it reveals in a press release.
The makeover is accompanied with a brand new tagline, “Good is Brewing.” Explaining the slogan, McDonald’s describes, “Good is always brewing with McCafé because good people deserve good coffee.”
The new branding will be introduced to McCafé US’s packaging, advertising and digital channels this month. Are you lovin’ it?
