A team has endearingly uprooted Yayoi Kusama’s Yellow Pumpkin from its usual location along Naoshima Island, Japan ahead of a typhoon.
In footage recorded by Instagram user @k24da, a crew of about a dozen people are seen lifting and carrying the iconic installation to safety, essentially turning into a pumpkin carriage reminiscent of the one from Cinderella.
The yellow sculpture with black dots is later transported via a van to keep it away from the impending storm.
According to Accuweather, the typhoon unfortunately proved to be fatal, wounding about 50 people and killing at least three last Thursday.
