Cristiano Ronaldo Dancing To ‘Baby Shark’ In Shopping Ad Will Make You Cringe
By Izza Sofia, 19 Aug 2019
Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest advert has left fans baffled.
The soccer star was recently appointed brand ambassador of Singapore-based e-commerce app Shopee, and was enlisted to dance in its ‘9.9 Super Shopping Day’ campaign.
The pretty cringeworthy spot shows Ronaldo scoring a goal, and then dancing to a Baby Shark-inspired jingle with other soccer players.
Fans of Ronaldo have been left appalled by the advert, with one Twitter user demanding to know how much he was paid for his participation.
Speaking about bringing the star on board, Shopee’s CEO Chris Feng said the company was “delighted” about the partnership, and hoped it would create a “lasting positive impact” in the region.
