President Donald Trump is known for his bizarre tweets, and this time, he has shared a photo of the Air Force One with a lightning bolt in the background.
Trump posted the snap of the bolt illuminating gray skies during a trip to North Carolina for a campaign rally.
The photo was originally shared by CNN reporter Steve Brusk, who credited the image to a group of photographers: Orly Ruiz, Michael Wade Sanders and Liz Turrell.
In Brusk’s tweet, he explained that the storm forced Trump to cancel his “planned tour of Hurricane Dorian damage.”
Trump, who thought the shot looked incredible despite the aircraft appearing like it had just missed a fatal encounter and that photographers had braved the storm to capture the moment, wrote, “This is amazing!”
The tweet has garnered responses from social media users, who essentially made the same joke about the “higher powers aiming their wrath” at Trump.
“Even God is trying to kill this dude,” one Twitter user joked. “God has given up being subtle,” another user commented.

Pres. Trump had to cancel his planned tour of Hurricane Dorian damage because of thunderstorms in Fayetteville, NC. This was a lightning strike behind Air Force One shortly after he arrived. God is sending Trump a message. It's about time, I am surprised lighting hasn't tried to strike him sooner. pic.twitter.com/3cYjvHSS9d— Holly Lee (@LeeHolly81) September 9, 2019
