Trump Wants You To Look Fashionable In Army-Style Products Displaying His Name
By Yimin Huang, 11 Sep 2019
US President Donald Trump’s company is now selling military-style clothing range in time for the 2020 elections.
The range is officially known as the ‘Fall & Camo’ collection. Camo print trousers and army green shirts are sold, alongside other miscellaneous products such as water bottles, wallets and socks. The word “Trump” is imprinted on every item to show support for his presidential campaign.
The efforts of the Trump Organization have received mixed responses. While supporters are excited for the products, there are many Twitter users making fun of the president for his lack of military service. Trump received five deferments that allowed him to be exempted from the Vietnam war.
The reason behind the first four deferments was Trump’s university attendance, and subsequently he was diagnosed with bone spurs in his heels, despite being healthy.
Commenters also pointed out that Trump’s children have followed in the footsteps of his father, having no record of military service.
For the discerning individual who doesn’t support our troops but wants to wear camo because they think it looks cool...trump...made in China.— Eric (@loveisanswer34) September 9, 2019

I get it. It’s camo because when it came time for Trump to serve, no one could find him.— Brian Tyler Cohen (@briantylercohen) September 9, 2019
