With the upcoming Digital HD release of Spider-Man: Far from Home on 17 September 2019, Sony has dropped a never-before-seen clip from the movie for fans’ viewing pleasure.
Director Jon Watts mentioned that the opening sequence of the movie was cut out from the theatrical release of Far from Home but will eventually make its way to the home edition.
Titled as “Peter’s To-Do List,” the following scene sees Tom Holland as ‘Peter Parker’ running last-minute tasks before his Europe trip.
This includes ‘Parker’s need to collect his passport. In the clip, the character is seen being hindered by a long line, which he eventually manages to cut through the use of ‘Stark’ technology.
The scene ends with a comedic tone that would have audiences wondering if the opening scene could have impacted the pace of the rest of the movie.
The film will be available in Digital HD on 17 September 2019, and a release on Blu-ray and DVD will follow through on 1 October 2019.
The home video will include bonus features, namely, “Peter’s To-Do List” as well as, “Teachers’ Travel Tips,” which sees ‘Mr Harrington’ (Martin Starr) and ‘Mr Dell’ (J.B. Smoove) highlighting a couple of tips on how to travel in Europe.
There will also be easter eggs revealed by ‘Tony Stark’s smart glasses ‘E.D.I.T.H’ in the bonus features, in addition to never-before-seen alternate and extended scenes.
