Do not be surprised when you catch “killer clowns” wandering the streets on Halloween. According to Google, Pennywise from IT is the most-searched costume for the holiday in 2019.
To reveal its spooky insights, the search engine giant relaunched its annual Google Frightgeist trends with a retro 8-bit-style web design that is more of a visual treat than trick.
The next keyword on the list is the all-time classic “Witch,” with “Spider-Man” and the odd “Dinosaur” following behind.
Down the line, people have searched for “Harley Quinn” and characters from Stranger Things.
Internet users can also use this website for inspiration on what to wear for this spooky season based on their preferences.
By clicking on a ‘Costume Wizard’ button, you can navigate ideas with adjustable spookiness and uniqueness levels, choose if you would like more traditional or modern outfits, as well as check out trending outfits within your area or nationwide.
When DesignTAXI amped the spookiness and uniqueness toggles up to 100 percent and requested for modern styles, the result that turned up was “Zombie.”
This one-word prompt might inspire you to emulate monsters from Dawn of the Dead, Michael Jackson’s Thriller and those from The Walking Dead.
