Every country has its unique sense of style, and what is desirable in one place might mean something else in another. If you’ve wondered how vastly ideals and tastes differ in other countries, scroll on.
Grooming company Groom + Style made it is mission to discover what is deemed fashionable across the world.
The team sent head shots of a man and woman to designers, fashion enthusiasts and photoshoppers, asking them to tweak the photos to best match the style and fashion trends in their own countries.
Designers from 27 countries got to work, using just the portraits to convey “peak fashion” back at home.
For Albanians, designer Sokol chose a soft, glowy look filter for the faces. The man is depicted with a short haircut and a stubble, while the woman dons a curly bob.
Costa Ricans seemingly prefer natural beauty, so the man simply has combed hair while the woman is dressed in glasses to portray intelligence.
Egyptians, on the other hand, lean towards exciting and modern looks. The males have little facial hair, whereas females are known to sport bold eye makeup.
