It seems like Apple is working on a bizarre iPhone that has a wraparound display that covers the front and back of the phone.
According to the patent spotted by Patently Apple, Apple has been filing similar patents for wraparound screens since 2013.
The patent, which was filed in October, mentioned that it is working on a “continuous loop” of a glass display around its electronic device.
Based on the patent filed in July, the glass phone would incorporate “facial tracking software… to determine an orientation of the user.”
In the patent filing, Apple wrote that it is “investigating ways to maximize” and extend the surface of the device for better functionality.
