The internet is an interesting place, and has birthed many bizarre challenges. One prominent platform that promotes internet dares is TikTok, which has amassed popularity for its tidbit content ranging from makeup transformations to lip-syncs and comedic videos.
A new challenge has surfaced, and for your safety, please do not attempt it at home. It involves users placing a Snapchat filter over their face with their eyes closed, and the preset then randomly switches up locations of facial piercings, moving accessories to the septum, dimple, labret, nose area, and more.
After the facial piercing “roulette” is complete, the user opens their eyes to discover which part of their face has been marked. They then proceed to get the actual piercing done.
Though it sounds crazy, it can be amusing to some to leave a pretty drastic choice in the hands of technology.
The platform paved way for various challenges such as the Haribo Challenge, which sees a crowd of gummy bears singing along to Adele’s Someone Like You, and the Raindrop Challenge, which features falling raindrops that pause according to the beats of tracks playing in the background.
