Disney’s ‘Baby Yoda’ Merchandise Is Mocked For Being ‘Lazily’ Produced
By Yimin Huang, 29 Nov 2019

As the Baby Yoda character from the Disney+ show The Mandalorian becomes wildly popular, Disney has decided to profit by producing the character as a merchandise.
However, the products that include Baby Yoda T-shirts, mugs, bags and phone covers seem to be made in a rush. The same repeated image of Baby Yoda is printed on all the products. One staffer from TechCrunch called it the “laziest merch ever.”
Furthermore, the product line does not seem well thought out as there is no plush toy or baby clothes that are very well-suited for the adorable “mascot.”
Twitter users also chip in with their opinions, with many saying Disney “can do better”, and calling it a “rush to production.” One user complains that it is “all the same image” on “T-shirts or mugs” and wants a plush toy instead. Many have seconded his preference for a stuffed toy and expressed disappointment at the available options.
It looks like Disney may have to try harder to please the many Baby Yoda fans.
Unimpressed. Disney can do better than this. #rushjob pic.twitter.com/mROqySLIBs

That merch seems a little lazy. It's all the same image just pasted onto shirts or mugs.
