Remember when Snapchat had a Best Friends feature that let others know who took up the most of your attention in the app? It appears that there’s a similar tool on WhatsApp.
As discovered by Express.co.uk, you can find out who you might be spending the most time chatting to on WhatsApp under your storage, whether you’re an iOS or Android user.
To access it, simply head over to WhatsApp’s settings menu, tap on ‘Data and storage usage’ and then ‘Storage usage’.
From there, you’ll be shown a list of contacts with a file size next to each of them. These might indicate who you’ve been interacting with the most; however, that’s not always the case, as large file sizes including photos and videos add to the number. You could have sent a whole bunch of photos to someone you just met without delivering a single text.
While this feature is good to know about, it can also be useful when you’re trying to save up space in your smartphone. Users will be able to delete individual chats if they’ve been hogging storage. In addition, you can take a trip down memory lane by opening each line to check out your past messages, media, location shares and more.
