A new app called LucidPix helps you create striking 3D photos that move when you tilt your phone.
LucidPix brings dimension to scenes through AI technology. Users can snap 3D photos from their phone’s camera, or simply convert existing 2D shots into 3D.
In addition, the app includes customization features like 3D frames to elevate the look and feel of your photos.
The photos can also be shared within the app’s community or on other social media platforms, such as Facebook, that support the display of 3D photos.
LucidPix is free for all, though photos will be embossed with a watermark by default. Watermarks can be erased for US$1 per image. You can also opt for the Pro version, which offers unlimited use of the app for US$6 monthly or US$52 yearly.
“The way consumers express themselves digitally and visually has evolved more and more to what we naturally see with our own eyes with depth,” Han Jin, founder and CEO of Lucid, said. “Thus, over the past few years, the visual medium has become more multidimensional, leading to more portrait photos, 3D content, and AR and VR being created.”
The app will roll out later this year on both iOS and Android. You can also sign up here to receive early access to the tool.
