The spirit of giving spills over to 2020, as
Adobe has shared
10 editable photographic mockups you can use in your next
Photoshop project.
The editable files were produced by photographer and designer
Samra Lovelady with the help of
Photoshop 2019, and include photos of folders, a cassette tape, floppy disc, sketchbook and metallic packaging.
You can also reduce your carbon footprint and save yourself time from taking your own photos with the selection of free files featuring plastic packaging, such as plastic bags, a plastic-wrapped booklet, and a booklet encased in bubble wrap.
Adobe points out that some files contain layers highlighted in yellow. These represent Smart Objects, which you can customize in a separate file by double-clicking on the layers.
You can also seamlessly export your work as transparent PNGs with these files by turning off the background layer, entering Shift + Opt/Alt + Command to create a new layer, and exporting or saving your finalized design as a PNG.
The downloads are compatible with
Photoshop 2019 and newer, and can be used “in any project, personal or commercial.” However, Adobe requests that you do not redistribute the original Photoshop files. Grab the freebies
here.
