If you spent hours as a kid looking for the guy in red and white stripes in the Where’s Waldo—or Wally for readers outside of the US—puzzle books, you’ll have little trouble spotting him now.
In a satirical concept by Pedro Mezzini, a Buenos Aires, Argentina-based creative director at David the Agency, the character sticks out like a sore thumb now that he is no longer among a sea of people during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Where’s Waldo? Coronavirus Edition imagines Waldo still waiting to be found while everybody else is practicing social distancing, and sees him alone in typically crowded places like the beach.
He’s also imagined to be wearing a face mask, so while he’s not observing the very imperative stay-at-home rule, he’s at least practicing some social responsibility while getting some exercise outdoors.
