Events around the world are being canceled, but that isn’t stopping creatives from being, well, creative, and making things work.
Andrew Hochradel, a creative professional, speaker, and Adobe mentor, managed to gather 52 leading creatives to helm a two-day CanceledCon event that will take the place of design conferences that have been postponed or canceled this year.
To honor social distancing regulations, CanceledCon will take place online via a YouTube live stream. The event will embody a “chill vibe with a variety show structure,” and comprise “everything from design tutorials to yoga instruction to an EZ-Bake oven cooking demo.”
On top of that, guests can share their portfolios through Discord to be reviewed by industry leaders.
“While we sit in our rooms, let’s come together, but still separate and alone,” the CanceledCon website explains.
The event is open for anyone to attend, and will run on 4 and 5 April at 8am to 8pm PDT. Find out more here.
