Telehealth company Ro has put a clever spin on patriotism while highlighting the pressing need to practice social distancing.
The ad, produced alongside advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy Portland and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, is a revised version of the American flag with all of its 50 stars spaced further apart and the catchphrase, “Stay apart. Together.”
Ohanian shared the photo on Twitter with the caption, “Stay safe everyone… and stay home!”
The campaign also features a safety message, offering the public free telehealth triage services if they require more information on COVID-19. It was rolled out across the country, as well as on social media.
Those who believe they are suffering from symptoms of COVID-19 can access the website at Ro.co/Together to take an online assessment and get referred to an appropriate health care provider if needed.
Let’s work together to stay apart. It’s the only way to slow the spread of COVID-19 & save lives. #StayApartTogether— Ro (@ro) March 24, 2020

Very happy to be the spark (my initial Times Squre billboard) that led to this massive campaign that just launched by the geniuses at @WiedenKennedy and powered by @ro free online #COVID19 assessments.#StayApartTogether https://t.co/EhTqhANkYU— Alexis Ohanian Sr. 🚀 (@alexisohanian) March 25, 2020
