The Backstreet Boys treated fans to a mini reunion as they performed their hit song I Want It That Way with their kids at home during self-isolation.
The 90s boyband had to cancel their upcoming tour due to the coronavirus pandemic, but decided to reunite online as part of iHeartRadio’s Living Room Concert for America.
The charity concert saw the five members performing on their separate screens, as they gave fans a tuneful live rendition of the 1999 smash hit song.
Brian Littrell kicked off the performance by paying tribute to the frontline responders. “I want to thank all the frontline responders that are donating their time, putting themselves in harm's way to take care of their fellow citizens,” he said.
He concluded his message by telling fans to, “Stay safe, stay home, protect yourself.”
Kevin Richardson led the group with a special appearance of his sons Mason and Maxwell, who played the guitar and drums respectively. Nick Carter then joined in and danced with his son, Odin, next to a pool. AJ McLean and Howie Dorough followed suit, and impressed fans with their harmonies and dance moves all in their respective houses.
iHeartRadio’s Living Room Concert for America was hosted by Elton John, and also featured other performers including Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish and Mariah Carey. You can watch the full concert here.
