This week marks the first anniversary of Avengers: Endgame and the directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, decided to take a trip down memory lane with a series of behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the cast.
The Russo brothers held an Endgame watch party to celebrate the first year of the film and live-tweeted some of the memorable moments captured on set along the way.
Some of the highlights include a video of Brie Larson’s first day as Caption Marvel, footage of Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. ending a scene where they time-traveled in the film and a clip of Mark Ruffalo meeting Joe Russo’s family, who played as the Hulk’s fans in the movie.
There are also tear-jerking videos of Evan’s and Downey Jr.’s last day of playing Captain America and Iron Man on set, and The Russo brothers added in a wholesome photo of the cast members posing for a camera together.
Check out some of the eventful behind-the-scenes moments below.
We’ve got some more Russo family cameo’s here. That’s Joe’s daughter, Lia, Anth’s son, Julian, and our nephew, Augie. Lia loved the memes of her dabbing when this first came out… well, maybe love is a strong word… #AvengersAssemble pic.twitter.com/ggT5LBVE0M— Russo Brothers (@Russo_Brothers) April 27, 2020
Rebuilding a set from a pre-existing movie is pretty damn cool. Also getting to hang out with the same, amazing cast year after year is also pretty damn cool… #AvengersAssemble pic.twitter.com/az1m65p68O— Russo Brothers (@Russo_Brothers) April 28, 2020
