Trojan Condoms Combines Safety With Pleasure In Revamped Logo & Packaging

Trojan Condoms has overhauled its design system with a simplified logomark, but decided to pair this new sense of safety with some play by introducing a spectrum of colorful packaging designs.
The brand refresh was put together by creative agency Dragon Rouge, who was tasked to shift customers’ perception of Trojan condoms as just “safety and efficacy” devices to catalysts of pleasure.
“The new brand identity conveys strength, trust, performance, and masculinity,” the agency explained.

While changes to the wordmark are subtle, the new branding aims to seamlessly glide across Trojan’s packaging. Dragon Rouge streamlined the logo such that the ‘A’ no longer towers over the other characters and the ‘N’ doesn’t dip at the end. It also added a slab serif to the ‘J’ to balance out the ‘T’.
The agency also added textures to the Trojan mascot, along with an array of multi colors for the 30 varieties of Trojan Condoms to portray the brand’s confidence and emphasis on sensation.
