The Den’s Gentleman Club in Wyoming has become one of the first strip clubs to reopen after the COVID-19 shutdown in the country.
To usher in loyal guests and newcomers, the strip club threw a “masks on, clothes off” party on Friday night. The performers were seen in skin-baring lingerie costumes with the essential masks on.
According to USA Today, the performers were still participating in physical contact with the patrons, exchanging cash on hand and touching various surfaces, which could lead to the potential spread of the virus despite hand sanitizers being available in the club.
The Den owner Kim Chavez told the publication that she didn’t feel so secure in kicking off the reopening of the club so soon. However, she felt that she had to resume business alongside other bars in the areas to keep her employees on payroll and self-sufficient amid the virus crisis.
