Apple’s official wallpapers are always something to look forward to each time there are major software updates. The Cupertino giant finally unveiled iOS 14 and macOS Big Sur earlier this week at the WWDC 2020 conference, and with them, a fresh selection of backgrounds to dress up your tech toys with.
The iOS and iPadOS 14 updates will only be available to the public in September, while Mac users will have to wait around until October to install Big Sur. This means the new wallpapers won’t officially be ready until later in the year.
Fortunately, Apple tech news site Cult Of Mac has extracted Apple’s branding images from the beta versions of the updates, and is sharing them with tech junkies who can’t wait to view and grab the backgrounds.
The iPhone and iPad each have their own sets of abstract wallpapers with three vibrant color schemes in light and dark mode options. That means six unique versions for the iPhone and six more for the iPad, totaling to 12 amazing backgrounds to choose for your smartphone and tablet.
The new Mac images also don’t disappoint. They’re breathtaking aerial photos of the famous Bixby Creek Bridge captured at different times of the day.
Preview the new options below, and download them in full resolution via Cult Of Mac’s iOS, iPadOS, and macOS wallpaper lineups. Also, feel free to use these wallpapers across platforms—you can certainly apply the Mac backgrounds for your iPhone, and vice versa.
