Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty lingerie label is extending its stance on body positivity to men. The brand is launching its first-ever menswear collection, designed alongside model and musician Christian Combs, who is the son of Diddy.
The versatile 11-piece collection includes a satin smoking jacket and pajama pants, as well as silky boxers and boxer briefs, all adorned with Combs’ personal 90s NYC aesthetic, PAPER magazine reports.
Although this is the label’s first foray into menswear design, Combs previously worked with Rihanna as a Savage X Fenty ambassador in 2019, and walked for her 2019 show at New York Fashion Week.
“I wanted to create menswear styles that everyone can wear,” shared Rihanna when describing the capsule. “After Christian did such a great job at the 2019 fashion show wearing men’s, I knew we had to have him as a collaborator.”
The series will be flaunted at Savage X Fenty’s Show Vol. 2 by models, dancers, musicians, and actors, including Combs himself.
Fans will be able to purchase the pieces on the Savage X Fenty website from 2 October.
