The Grammy Awards have released a new spot paying homage to the creators behind a hit record. The animated ad comes with a narration, which masterfully references 33 song titles.
The spot, created by creative agency TBWA\Chiat\Day, uses the number “33” to note the revolutions per minute that a vinyl long-playing record logs on turntables.
The ad’s opening starts with “Whether they’re Straight Outta Compton, or from way out in The Suburbs, they’ll go to The Dark Side of the Moon and back to make Music. They are just Born This Way. They are the people behind the Sound & Color of your favorite records.”
The first 15 seconds already acknowledge tracks by N.W.A., Arcade Fire, Pink Floyd, Madonna, Lady Gaga, and Alabama Shakes.
Find more hidden songs in the ad’s copy below.
