A Japanese company has created a clever face mask that allows you to print your name and workplace on it.
Nagoya-based company Nagaya Printing has created custom Meishi Masks—meishi means business card—targeted at working-class individuals. Currently, there are three different designs to choose from: the Customer Service Mask, the Sales Mask, and the Selling Mask.
The Customer Service Mask resembles the standard business card template, complete with your company’s name and logo. The Sales Mask allows you to place your name in a bolder and clearer space, while the Selling Mask gives you the option of adding your personal profile photo.
The 100-percent cotton masks will come in handy if you have trouble memorizing names when you meet clients for the first time.
Japanese social media users have weighed in on the design, suggesting that it would be helpful to have their usernames printed on the masks, too. This way, they will be able to recognize individuals befriended through online gaming platforms or social media.
However, several users express that the masks might be a breach of privacy, especially when you display your name and workplace on it.
The Meishi Masks retail for US$14 per design, and can be ordered online
